Every hockey coach’s dream is to have a successful hockey team. To achieve success and development in hockey and for your hockey team, your hockey practices, planning and hockey drills have to be interesting and developing, everybody knows that. But what to do when you are not seeing the development you hoped for your hockey team or are running out of new ideas for your hockey practices or plays and you don’t have the flow in your hockey practice planning? Maybe your hockey team is doing more than well and you don’t have the pressure to develop you hockey game and plays? Probably that’s a “mental hockey coaching trap” many hockey coaches step into. We are doing great… I can guarantee the other hockey coaches are hunting your team! They are doing their best to develop their team and their hockey play to catch you. Been there, done that, know it! Continues improvement in your hockey practices, plays, drills and game, give your success as hockey coach!
With these questions and statements in my head I have created this hockey coaching site and the hockey practice drills and plays found here. With all respect to other hockey coaching sites, they might have given me some “first aid” in my hockey coaching, but I would have wanted something else and better…
About the hockey drills
With 15 years of experience from men’s- (division 1), junior- (Elite/div 1) and boy hockey teams, I have gained a great collection of good hockey drills to various levels. On these pages you will find those hockey drills.
The hockey drills are based on my theoretic knowledge and practical hockey experience. The theoretic knowledge I have, is from two years at the coach academy and from the highest grade from the Swedish Ice Hockey Association education (Elite license). Add to all that the leadership and leadership education from my daily work (leadership development and quality work / management).

I have taken all the hockey coach educational steps you can take in Sweden and also studied in Coach Academy which then no longer is related only to hockey.
