Hockey skating drill for forwards
This is a free hockey skating drill for forwards (left and right wingers). Use this drill as warm up drill on your hockey practice, before you start practicing game situations or to finnish a hockey practice with. Using this kind of skating drills your hockey players learn the moving patterns on ice and are improving their skating skills at the same time.
Explanation to the free hockey skating drill for forwards: Player skates to goal, stops, backs up a bit against blue line, skates to the left border, to right border and back checking to starting position.
Make this hockey drill more advanced:
- Let the player try to score when skating against goal.
- Add a player who tryies to get out from the zone and have the forward trying to put pressure.
Putting these moves into this hockey drill, you have 2 "new" hockey drills. Your players will develop their skating skills and moving patterns in offensive hockey play step by step.
