Free Hockey passing drill

This is a free hockey passing drill sample. The drill is also containing some good skating practice moments done with a puck in control. You can see this drill as a warm up drill, a skating / passing drill or as the first part of when winning back the puck on own blue line and playing it to your own defense men who starts offensive attack / turns the game from defense to attacking.

Explanation to the hockey passing drill: Player 1 starts skating backwards, receives a pass, turns up, skate forward against blue line with the puck in control, passes, turn to skating backwards, receive one more pass, takes a shot or makes a skating turn and shoot after that.

Make this hockey drill more advanced:

- In this Hockey passing drill you could add as many passes as possible.

- Let the player who has taken the shot, stay in front of the goalie and try to get the rebound.

- You can also let these two players try to score on the opposite goal as 2-0.

- Add one or two defense men and you have first a game turn move and after that a 2 on 1 or 2 on 2 situation.

Putting these moves into this hockey drill, you have 4 "new" hockey drills. Your players will develop their passing and skating skills in hockey play step by step.
