Hockey goalie and rebound drill
This is a free hockey goalie and rebound drill. Use this drill after warm up drills on your hockey practice, before you start practicing game situations or to finnish a hockey practice with. Using this kind of goalie drill you give your goalies situations they will be facing in a game and you also learn your players go for the goal and take rebounds.
Explanation to the free hockey goalie and rebound drill: Player 1 starts with the puck, with player 2 behind, player 1 try to score, player 2 goes for the rebound, takes rebound, skates up against player 4, mean while player three takes a shot from blue line, player 4 pass a puck to player 2, player 2 turns and try to score player 4 goes for the rebound.
Make this hockey drill easier:
- Remove player 3.
Change this hockey drill:
- Put player 3 in different position in zone.
Make this drill even more advanced:
- Move the starting positions to the neutral zone and have to extra rebound shooters in zone. (after the first shot and rebound, you can have two more shots from right/left or from both left and right.
Putting these moves into this hockey drill, you have 3 "new" hockey drills. Your hockey goalies will develop their goaltending in hockey and the players taking the rebounds step by step.
Free Hockey goalie and rebound drill
Using this kind of goalie drill you give your goalies situations they will be facing in a game and you also learn your player go for the goal and take rebounds. This is an advanced hockey goalie drill. By removing player 3 you make it a little bit easier for your players. Move player 3 in zone to get the extra rebound shots from different places.
